WARNING: SPOILERS FOR KILLING EVE SERIES 3 AHEAD. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Killing Eve series 3 has come to an end with Are You Leading Or Am I? and now fans have to wait an unspecified time for the next series and instalment of Eve and Villanelle’s story. But here’s everything we know about series 4 so far.

The series finished with hope for shippers that Eve Polastri and Villanelle could have hope for their future. The final episode had plenty of scenes for fans to be able to hold onto as the majority of the third series kept the two leads apart and focused on their separate storylines. Eve was investigating the death of Kenny Stowton while Villanelle went back to work for The Twelve. However, she went through an identity crisis as she struggled to kill in the cold way that she used to be able to.

The series will be following through with its tradition of starting each series with a new female head writer, Laura Neal of Sex Education will be taking the reins from Suzanne Heathcote. However, we don’t know when production will be able to begin as coronavirus has brought delays across the entertainment industry which means it will likely not return in April 2021 as promised.

But on a positive note, Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer will be returning to the series as the leads – but there’s been no further confirmations of who will be joining them in the cast. We can guess that Fiona Shaw and Kim Bodnia will be rejoining them, however and possibly Camille Cottin as she still has some loose ends to cut short with Villanelle. The character that we can’t say either way is Niko Polastri as the events of the past series could see that he’s out of the show for good.

So, what will happen? We already mentioned that Villanelle has had an identity crisis and there was a question mark over whether she would be returning to the assassin life after she quit the Twelve. But they don’t take resignation lightly so the pair could be in more danger than ever – but after realising that they can’t be apart, at least they’ll be facing it together.
