Killing Eve has been slammed for a photo (which has now been deleted) showing the writers’ room which is comprised of all-white writers. The show has been a fan-favourite; starring Sandra Oh as Eve Polastri and Jodie Comer as Villanelle, the show shows a cat and mouse game of chase between the pair.
Kayleigh Llewellyn tweeted the photo of a Zoom call showing the writers of the show – nine of them that were all white. Fans flocked to criticise the lack of diversity within the writers’ room alongside other TV writers. This has urged fans to detail other problems that they have had the series such as how Eve Polastri’s character has been pushed to one side in lieu of Villanelle having more screen time.
